About Us
Levensight is owned and managed by Chris Mills (PhD, MSc), an experienced research and consultancy professional.
Chris started his career as a chartered accountant with Deloitte before taking on leadership roles for several UK-based charities. In a varied career, he has co-founded a community development trust, led an endowed grant-making foundation and worked as a philanthropy advisor. Chris has also accumulated extensive research and consultancy experience as a Research Associate with the Institute for Voluntary Action Research (IVAR) and a freelancer since 2010. He has also been a trustee of various charities, most recently with the LTA Tennis Foundation.
Chris has a PhD from Manchester Metropolitan University in the organisational sociology of voluntary associations and an MSc from the University of London in voluntary and community sector studies.
Under Chris' leadership, Levensight is able to draw on an extensive network of talented research associates. This means we can manage resources flexibly and assemble high-performing teams with relevant expertise.

Location
Levensight is based in the historic city of Lancaster in the north west of England.
